The use of EMMC adapter: The following three options will be visible by entering “EMMC”under input chip printing: EMMC_AUTO:Speed 8BIT (default), when click SmartID EMMC, that’s it. EMMC_AUTO_4BIT:4BIT, it’s recommended that for most chips, choose this because it is stable. EMMC_AUTO_1BIT:1BIT, when neither of above two is readable, you can choose this, which is slow but may save the data on chip.(In order to save the data as much as possible, we still need to do something, please read this article) In addition, when the chip model with _1/4/8BIT@FBGA153/FBGA169 and so on, actually are same as the above, the only difference is that first three can be read and wrote without distinguish the chip model. Note: 1/4/8BIT indicates different speed; FBGA153 and FBGA169 indicate the chip packaging form, respectively.
Note: when the error occurs, please confirm the following information: ①First make sure that the chip is good, some chips can be read but can not be written, or can not be read, which all are the bad omens. ②When use the adapter, VCCQ volt must be 3.3V. ③It is recommended that the latest version of the software be used, subject to what is published here: RT809 software download
EMMC adapter, of which flip is black and PCB is printed V2.3, is the latest version, no need to change anything. For V2.2, V2.1, and V2.0, you need to change as follows: ①The D0~D7 resistance on the front of the adapter, in total eight, are changed to 100Ω. ②Cut off the back circuit, and CLK, CMD resistance 100Ω; If you don’t think it looks good after the change, you can buy an empty board, and remove the resistor, capacitance, 25XX chip and the seat to the new board to use.
When you encounter some unreadable chips, except choosing 1BIT to reading, you can try to adjust the VCC voltage: ①Under the EMMC options, click the “Setting”on the left to adjust the VCC voltage; ②When the following hint appears during the reading, indicating that a bad block has been encountered, click Yes you can continue to read. If you are lucky, the error isn’t on the key start-up, the data read out should be useful. |
