Dear colleagues! Don't buy the RT809H programmer becauseit's plain junk! Don't waste your money, that programmer has very limited capabilities! I tried to read and rewrite the eMMC software from two Sony TVs into thesame chip with EMMC_AUTO_ISP flying line. One Sony is Model KD-55X9005C withmainboard 1-894-595-12 and the other is Sony TV Model KD55-X8505C withmainboard 1-894-596-22. With both TVs, I originally had a problem with Androidconstantly restarting. I was not able to solve it by resetting the TV asinstructed by Sony support, so I decided to try to solve the problem with myRT809H programmer. I have pictures of the eMMC pinout and I was able to readthe eMMC chip with my RT809H programmer. Then I did a write with my RT809H andput the read content of 14GBit back into the eMMC chip. However when I tried toturn on my TV after this rewrite my TV behaved like it was completely dead! Nowit doesn't show any signs of life, nor does the stand bay front LED light up atall! I did the same procedure with the motherboard of another Sony TV and gotthe same problem! My other TV is now dead too, don't give any signs of life!Let me mention that the process of reading and rewriting the software to theeMMC chip via the ISP port on the RT809H went without any complications. Thedeveloper did the job successfully and his operating program confirmed thesuccess of the write but unfortunately this is false information! Frustrated by the failure with my RT809H I soughthelp from a colleague who owns a "Datamann 48Pro2C" Programmer. Mycolleague has eMMC software from Sony TV KD-49X8305C which has mainboard1-894-595-12. With the "Datamann" programmer, we successfully wrotethat software to both of my boards, and behold miracles, both of my Sony TVs now work normally! Inoticed in the content of the software for Sony Tv owned by my colleague thatit has 4X EXTCSD data, while the program of my RT809H recognizes and reads onlyone single EXTCSD data. ! ??? I got this softwarefrom my colleague and tried to apply it on my RT809H programmer. Writing withthis software, my programmer starts and then the program stops and stays likethat for half an hour, at the end comes the message that "time out".Write EXTCSD data doesn't work at all and just blocks while ROM1, ROM2 and ROM3bin files can be overwritten individually but after that I get nothing! The TVstands as if dead, in the eMMC content it lacks 4X EXTCSD data ! That is not inthe driver program for RT809H and it is not possible to read and write it! Based on this bad experience, I claim that there is a problem either in theRT809H programmer itself or in its operating program, it is not able toproperly read the software from the eMMC chips of these Sony TVs!
